Im not sure why the mechanic thinks this si the cause. A diagnostic check for codes of the module may show codes to replace it, but since it is a module, it would need to be programmed by a dealer in order for it to work. Im not saying its a fuse thats causing it, you check for amperage and remove fuses until you see the amp reading drop.

Had the car about 6 weeks now and noticed earlier this week with the first frost that only one side of the heated windscreen is working. referred to earlier posts that stayed i needed to look at F14 and F16 in the engine fuse box. When I got in the fuse box there wasn’t a fuse in either. After checking the manual the only thing I can find for
