Live wallpapers, at least the one's I've seen, typically only animate a small portion of the screen so that won't really help with burn-in mitigation. A half-decent screensaver or the photo slideshow would likely do better. Yes in theory it should help, but the task bar will burn in first so.
I could be wrong, but my assumption is that the increases in OLED brightness over time have came from more efficiently driving the pixels instead of just blasting power through them. Get your warranty extended to 5 years. Other than that, look for pixel-shift in Lenovo's documentation. That's the most they can do. Perhaps having a 1440p or 4K OLED screen will be necessary for the pixel-shift feature to be implemented seamlessly.
