The Jaguar F-Type is a worthy successor to the legendary E-Type. The 380-hp supercharged V6 is sweeter and better balanced than the 550-hp supercharged V8. In the F-Type SVR the engine is rated 575 hp at 6,500 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque from 3,500-5,000 rpm. That's 25 hp (6,500 rpm) and 14 lb-ft (2,500-5,500 rpm) more than the F-Type R. Jaguar says F type R is much more of a sports car than the LC and also way funner. Handles better. It also is loud all the time even at 3k RPM and pops and bangs in a riotous and organic manner. Just makes it a great street car for cruising or city driving. You don't need a canyon road or a long strip of road to have fun.
