Open the file named config_local.cfg in the profile folder in your preferred text editor (I recommend Notepad++). Find the line uset g_force_economy_reset "0" and change the 0 (and only the zero!) to a 1. Save the file. Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and load into your profile. You should receive a warning message saying Game change detected
To force economy reset by editing the profile config.cfg file: Open the config.cfg of the specific profile you want to change uset g_force_economy_reset "0" to uset g_force_economy_reset "1". Start the game and load the profile. When it opens you'll see the " Game changed, your truck has been relocated at no cost to you " message.

You need to copy old savegame files from your last computer from "Documents" folder, there two folders to copy, "ETS2MP" and "Euro Truck Simulator 2". This 2 folders contains all data you has been used for ETS2 and ETS2MP, including trucks, garages, chats, logs, tag for your ETS2MP and configurations you made. Quote.

My Facebook Page : Save files not recognized. I've deleted ETS2 from my computer and reinstalled it a few weeks later and it just laid on my HDD. I've launched it tonight and it didn't recognize my profile and no save files are present. I haven't changed nor modded a game in any way. It's a clean install, and there's ETS2 folder in my Documents, alongside bVua.
