l4d2 has a couple things going for it. first is that 99% of computers can run it decently, so you don't need even a mid tier rig to play it. second is that it's like 5$ for a good portion of the year, I mean come on who wouldn't cop that? third is the community workshop. there's a ton more gameplay value in l4d2 just based on that, even tho B4B may be better balance wise and graphics wise.

Buy it from the 360 marketplace. One X enhanced means it's 4k on One X, which carries over to Series X. Not sure why it can't be purchased, people have been reporting this for a while but it's never been officially stated that it's been delisted, you can still buy a disc and play it for sure.
